David became part of the HUNT Insurance team in 2019, bringing with him 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. After graduating from the University of Vermont in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in political science, David started his career as an independent producer at Lawley. From there, he worked at HSBC and at AAA of Western and Central New York in the position of vice president.
For David, the best part of his job is the family-oriented atmosphere that defines the HUNT company culture. He also enjoys getting the opportunity to help create brand awareness and take a leading role in growing the business for the relatively new and rapidly expanding HUNT Insurance agency.
The scoop on David: Throughout his career, David has been involved with the United Way and was a past board member of the Scleroderma Foundation of WNY. David also used to coach hockey at Nichols School and in the Hamburg hockey organization. In his spare time away from the office, David spends time with his three children.
