Phil Held entered the financial services industry 14 years ago with the intention of growing a business that would help clients protect and grow wealth. Phil works with his clients in all aspects of their financial lives and takes a comprehensive approach to addressing their goals and concerns. His expertise is applicable in everything from foundational planning to complex business and estate consulting. Phil’s direct, common sense approach helps clients to take action and achieve their goals with confidence.
Beyond his practice, Phil has been involved in various advocacy roles in the financial services industry at the local and state level. He is currently the president of NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors) for the New York State chapter. In that capacity, Phil leads a team that works with legislators, the Department of Financial Services and a host of other entities to advocate for legislation that protects and promotes the products that are critical to the financial security of New Yorkers and all Americans.
The scoop on Phil: Leadership is important to Phil at the community level as well. He currently sits on the board of Amherst High School Academies. In addition, Phil is an educator at the Establishment, a learning initiative of MassMutual’s that aims to develop financial literacy through public and private learning venues. Phil enjoys Sabres games, playing golf, Pearl Jam concerts, and spending time with his wife, Michelle and their children, Chloe, Holly and Timothy. A native of Hamburg, Phil currently resides in Clarence, NY.
